My first post in my first blog is about something very close to my heart. I have been loving and eating this since I was a kid. It is a traditional Nepali dish which is made during festivals and in almost all occasions.
This being the festive month of October, there wasn’t any better time for me to post about this delicious treat. Tihar, also known as Diwali is the festival of lights. It is celebrated all over India and many neighbouring countries like Nepal and Bhutan. Sel Roti is round and looks like a kind of brown bread. It can be served with chutneys or vegetables but goes best with a potato dish called aloo dum.
